Martvili Canyon

Martvili Canyon is one of the most popular protected areas. The canyon visitor center is located in the village of Inchkhuri, at the entrance to the canyon. This is the best place to spend a vacation or weekend with the family.

A 700 m long circular stone-paved hiking trail starts from the visitor center and follows the Dadiani historical trail. The trail features 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a 30-step historical staircase built of large limestone boulders.

Visitors also have the opportunity to take a boat ride on a 300-meter (one-way) section of the Abasha River and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain river canyon.
