Gudauri
Gudauri is a popular ski resort in winter and an active recreation center in summer. Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is a village at the foot of Mount Kazbegi, with its main attraction being the Gergeti Trinity Church, one of the symbols of Georgia.
The Gudauri resort is located just 2 hours’ drive from Tbilisi. You can reach Gudauri by car or minibus. Minibuses depart from Didube Bus Station. The road to Gudauri is always cleared of snow, making it easy to reach with any type of vehicle. However, during heavy snowfall, restrictions are imposed and driving is allowed only with anti-skid chains.
