Gveleti Waterfall

Gveleti Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Georgia and is located in Kazbegi, in the village of Gveleti. Two waterfalls descend side by side here — the Small Gveleti and the Big Gveleti. The distance between them is about 750 meters.

Both the Big and Small Gveleti Waterfalls are exceptionally beautiful places, and the area is even more impressive from August to October, during the ripening of rosehips, barberries, and sea buckthorn. At this time, not only is the nature along the path to Gveleti Waterfall enchanting, but the fragrance in the air is also wonderful.
